Everything about the latest addition to the Bold & Pure Opel family has been considered and crafted down to the finest detail, which can be seen in the striking exterior claddings now available in complimentary body colours and the sportiness of the striking lightweight alloy wheels that are available in 17” 18” 19”.

Face the future

From every angle, Grandland Hybrid is second-to-none. Front to back, you’ll notice daring design choices and progressive feature accents. Leading the way, Opel’s signature Vizor sleekly integrates front-end devices, sensors and functions into a single array. At the very end, sculpted full-LED tail lamps that harmoniously echo the Vizor… but there’s always more to discover with Grandland Hybrid.

IntelliLux LED pixel light

Introducing the ground-breaking IntelliLux LED® Pixel Light headlamps¹ - the next step in headlight technology. This best-in-class system improves night time visibility with permanent glare-free high beam to avoid dazzling oncoming drivers. Each headlamp consists of 84 seg-ments which adapt to traffic conditions by automatically switching off individual units.

Night Vision

Typically, only your headlights help you to see when driving in darkness. Until now, that is with our latest night-time driving innovation, Night Vision¹. An advanced infrared camera significantly improves visibility of anything more than 300m ahead, beyond the normal reach of headlights, and will detect pedestrians or animals in the dark and display video directly to the digital cluster. Should anything get too close then the Automatic Emergency Braking system also triggers. So, when you‘re talking safer night-time driving, the new Grandland is definitely not your typical SUV.

Automatic Emergency Braking

The system¹ acoustically warns the driver of dangerous situations ahead. If another car or a pedestrian gets too close, it decelerates or brings the vehicle to a standstill.

¹Automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection works automatically above 5 km/h and below 140 km/h. From 5 to 30 km/h the deceleration metric to reduce the impact speed of the collision is 0,9 g. From 30 to 140 km/h the system reduces the speed by a maximum of 50 km/h. Above this threshold, the driver needs to brake him/herself to reduce the speed even further. Operational speed range of automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection depends on the detected obstacle (mobile obstacle: from 5 to 140 km/h; fixed obstacle: from 5 to 80 km/h; pedestrian: from 5 to 60 km/h). Advanced Park Assist ¹

The Grandland Hybrid will detect a parking slot for you and then steer you into the space. All you have to do is to accelerate and apply the brakes. Now that‘s a smart move.

See more than you typically would with full confidence, even in confined spaces. Our advanced 360° camera¹ detects objects that are in the way while you see what's happening on screen – making parking and backing out a breeze.

Lane Keep Assist and Lane Departure Warning

Enjoy a greater level of safety and awareness while driving. Lane Keep Assist (LKA) actively responds to dangerous driving by gently steering the vehicle back into the markings. Lane Departure Warning (LDP) warns you of having unintentionally left the marked lane.

Highway Integration Assist

Highway Integration Assist is an innovative synergy of Grandland Hybrid’s systems, combining Advanced Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go functionality and Lane Positioning Assist. It works as a semi-automatic system that helps you integrate into a highway, follow a particular lane, or follow a vehicle ahead. Engaged at the touch of a button, you can retake control from the system any time simply by moving the steering wheel.

Choose from 4 driving modes - electric, hybrid, sport and 4WD¹. Hybrid mode will auto-select the most efficient option, cleverly switching to electric mode at low speeds for zero emissions. The automatic gearbox with electric shifter features the following driving modes:
